Katie has over 25 years’ experience as a Production Designer and Art Director.

She is originally from Toronto where she developed her skills on several large production studio builds as a draftsperson and art director before studying Production Design at the National Film and Television school in the UK.

Recently Katie was nominated for a "Children's and Family Emmy Award" (2025) in the category of Outstanding Art Direction / Set Decoration / Scenic Design for her work on BBC's "Malory Towers". Her other recent credits include, "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" for Warner Brothers, and the final series of the Tracy Beaker franchise, "The Beaker Girls".

She has proven her ability to design, build and manage teams of all budgets and ambition.

Katie is based in South Wales.
